The Sunshine Saxon Preschool Lab is a hands-on Early Childhood Education program for high school students. Under a licensed teacher’s guidance, they plan and teach lessons to preschool-aged children, focusing on motor skills, early literacy, math, science, and art. This real-world experience helps high school students explore careers with children while the preschoolers learn in a nurturing environment.

Registration for 2026-2027

• Registration will begin in March 2026.
• Open spots will be offered to families from the Sunshine Saxon Preschool Waiting List (26-27 School Year)

• Meet September - Early May
• Days: Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays
• 9:25-11:50 AM

Requirements

• Children ages 3-5 years.
• Children must be fully toilet-trained.
• A current State of Illinois Certificate of Child Health Examination form must be reviewed by the school nurse.
