SENIOR VIDEO/PHOTO SUBMISSIONS
Class of 2025 – Photos for Senior Video
Seniors and their parents can begin submitting photos and/or short video clips of them and their classmates to appear in the Senior Video, which is shown at the Senior Brunch. CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT! All photos and videos will be monitored prior to being added to the final product. The Senior Video should encompass all members of the graduating Class of 2025 and represent your memories and experiences with peers, staff, and family at Schaumburg HS.

GRADUATION CAP, GOWN, TASSEL, AND TICKET DISTRIBUTION
Caps, Gowns, Tassels, and Ticket Distribution (8 tickets per graduate)
Date: Tuesday, April 8, 2025
Time: 7:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Location: Auditorium FoyerIf your child has not submitted their cap and gown measurements, please have them reach out to Mrs. Mueller in the Main Office. Measurements will also be taken on April 8th during the scheduled cap and gown distribution.

CLASS OF 2025 MEETINGS
CLASS OF 2025 MEETINGS - AUDITORIUM - PERIODS 1 THROUGH 8 April 25th
Join us in the Auditorium during Periods 1 through 8 for an important meeting. Please attend with your Senior Survey, Government, or AP Government class. Mr. Harlan, Principal, and Mrs. Letzel, Assistant Principal and Director of Student Activities, will be there to welcome you and set the tone for expectations regarding senior events, graduation practice, and graduation. Mrs. Strauch, Mrs. Casamassimo and Mrs. Mueller, Senior Class Sponsors, will also be present to walk you through the logistics of all senior activities, graduation practice, and the big day itself! Be sure to attend and get all the info you need for an unforgettable senior year!

SATURDAY, MAY 3, 2025 - JUNIOR/SENIOR PROM
JUNIOR/SENIOR PROM - WESTIN CHICAGO NORTHWEST, ITASCA
This year's prom, “Midnight in Manhattan”, is on Saturday, May 3, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, at the Westin in Itasca.
The Schaumburg High School Very Important Parents (VIP) Booster Club is hosting Post Prom immediately following prom. Students will travel with chaperones, by bus, to Chicago for a boat ride on the Spirit of Navy Pier from 10:30 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. The cruise will take place from 12:30-2:30 and will arrive back at the Westin immediately following.

THURSDAY, MAY 15, 2025 - SENIOR PICNIC
SHS Stadium - Thursday, May 15, 12:05 p.m.
Thanks to our VIP Parent Boosters, there is no cost to students for the picnic. All seniors will be dismissed after 5th period to attend the Senior Picnic. Activities, music, and picnic food items will be provided. Seniors will be dismissed from the picnic.

FRIDAY, MAY 16, 2025 - GRADUATION PRACTICE
Schaumburg High School - Friday, May 16, 7:15 a.m.
Graduation Practice is Mandatory! All students marching in graduation on Tuesday, May 20, are required to attend graduation practice. Students are to report to their assigned seat in the Schaumburg High School auxiliary gymnasium no later than 7:15 a.m. All students are to enter through the athletic entrance, Door #10, and wear their school ID. Students are required to know the seating assignment prior to practice. The graduation assigned seats will be posted on the Schaumburg High School website, the showcase hallway, in the gym and concession stand hallway, and inside the athletic entrance near door #10, on Friday, May 16.

FRIDAY, MAY 16, 2025 - SENIOR BRUNCH
The Seville - Friday, May 16 10:30 a.m.
Students will have time to go home between graduation practice and brunch to change.
To attend the Senior Brunch, students must have pre-purchased a ticket and completed the seating assignment in April and May. Senior Brunch is held at the Seville and students are asked to dress in business casual attire.
MONDAY, APRIL 21st - FRIDAY, APRIL 25th
SENIOR BRUNCH TICKET SALES - $33.00 PER TICKET
All tickets for the Senior Brunch, taking place on Friday, May 16th, will be available for purchase exclusively through MySchoolBucks. Seating instructions will be sent out on April 25th.

TUESDAY, MAY 20, 2024 - GRADUATION CEREMONY
NOW Arena-Tuesday, May 20 7:30 p.m.
Graduation will be Livestreamed by NOW Arena and will be available on the District 211 website at https://adc.d211.org/Graduation

Graduates are asked to ride with parents, if possible.
Door #11 Will Open for Graduates at 6:15 p.m.
Graduates are Required to Report to the Assigned Faculty Member By 6:30 p.m.
Students are required to wear graduation caps and gowns over attire that reflects a dignified ceremony. Tassels are to be worn on the right side of the graduation cap. Graduates are not to bring items to graduation, for example, cell phones, keys, purses, flowers, or balloons. The NOW Arena prohibits the use of air horns or other devices. If the graduate did not pick up their graduation cap, gown, tassel, and eight tickets or did not order a graduation cap, gown, and tassel, they should see Mrs. Mueller, located in the Main office, immediately.

Please dress appropriately for a formal and dignified ceremony that will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.

NOW Arena parking attendants will direct all vehicles to the east and west parking lots. ADA parking will be available in the east lot only. Space is provided on a first-come first-served basis. For liability reasons, the NOW Arena does not provide wheelchairs or wheelchair escorts.

Graduates must enter through the southeast entrance (Door #11) at 6:15 p.m. Each graduate will pass through a metal detector upon entering the NOW Arena. Graduate gowns are to be zipped just after the security screening is completed. NO ITEMS will be allowed into the NOW Arena other than the graduation cap and gown. All extra items will be placed in a brown paper bag with the graduate name on it. Graduates are to pick up all items as they recess out of the graduation ceremony.

Graduates must be completely ready and report to the assigned faculty member no later than 6:30 p.m. Faculty members are listed and highlighted prior to the graduate name on the graduation seating assignments.

Tassels are to be worn on the right side of the graduation cap.

Parents and guests are to enter through the NOW Arena Main Entrance. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Screening will be enhanced at the Main Entrance. It is recommended to leave any unnecessary bags at home.

ADA seating is available around the entire upper level of the lower bowl. One ADA guest and one family member/friend is permitted in the ADA seating area.

Air horns, balloons, and bells are not permitted. Participants will be escorted from the building.

There will be a recessional at the end of the graduation ceremony. Please remain seated until all graduates have left the main floor. Graduates will meet their parents outside in the open area on Hoffman Boulevard (between the west lot and the west side of the arena). Signs with #1 - #6 will be posted. Determine which sign # parents/family will meet up with their graduate after graduation. This area will be closed off to all traffic.

SENIOR YARD SIGNS
Yard signs are available for purchase on My School Bucks and The VIP website. Signs are $20.00 Each (2 sided, waterproof, & includes metal stake). Pick-up dates will be scheduled, and parents will receive an email with details.
