iPad Self-Service Apps

  • To enhance the learning focus of the iPad, a predetermined set of apps to fulfill classroom activities and assignments are available for students to download directly through the District’s Self-Service app.

    Additional course-specific apps may be installed throughout the school year upon request by classroom teachers.

    The App Store will not be available to students, nor will selected programs such as iMessage, FaceTime and AirDrop. Additionally, social media websites and applications that have been shown to distract students from schoolwork may not be available on the iPad.

    Parents interested in information about applying supplemental Internet filtering and device controls to their child’s school-assigned iPad may contact the assistant principal assigned to their child to discuss options to implement individualized iPad settings.
