PHS Boys Football

  • The Pirates are traveling to Knute Rockne Stadium this Friday Night for Round 1 of the 8A IHSA Playoffs.  Here are some details to know if you are planning on attending the game.

    Please make the appropriate plans as you head into the city on Friday.  Plan ahead for traffic and remember it is Halloween.

    There is a clear bag policy at the Stadium and no Halloween Masks will be allowed into the stadium.  Here is the link for the stadium policies… https://cpsathletics.com/sy26-stadium-rules/

     

    ● Clear Bag Policy All bags are subject to search upon entry. Backpacks and oversized bags are NOT permitted. Only small bags/clutch (no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”), clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags will be permitted. To expedite entry, guests are encouraged to bring only essential items.

    ● Prohibited Items No weapons, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, fireworks, air horns, or laser pointers allowed. Items may be confiscated, and violators may be removed. This includes Stanley Cups, metal water bottles, and umbrellas.

    ● No Re-Entry Once you exit the stadium, re-entry is not permitted unless authorized by school personnel. Please ensure you bring all items that may be needed through the duration of the event when you enter the stadium.

    ● Early Entry Restriction Spectators are not permitted early entry with players. Only school officials, team staff, and coaches may enter prior to gate opening.

    ● Respectful Conduct Required Unsportsmanlike behavior, including profanity, harassment, or fighting, will result in removal from the stadium. Be respectful to players, officials, and fellow spectators.

    ● Outside Food or Beverages No outside food or beverages. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons with prior approval.

    ● Seating & Field Access Spectators must remain in designated seating areas. Field access is restricted to authorized personnel only.

    ● No Animals Allowed Animals are not permitted inside the stadium unless they are certified service animals in according to the ADA. Emotional support animals and pets are not allowed.

    ● Multiple Games on Same Day The stadium will be cleared of all spectators at the conclusion of every game to prepare for the next game and the entry of spectators.

    ● No Halloween Masks or Accessories (fake knives, toy guns etc…)

    ● All Spectators will be wanded upon entry.

     

     

    Here is a map for overflow parking on the street if the parking lot is full.  The area just south of the stadium is a small parking lot in red.  The purple areas are where you can park on the street.
