Those Who Excel
Palatine High School teacher Mauricio Orozco was recognized by the Board of Education for being the District nominee for the ISBE Teacher of the Year.
Fremd High School teachers Katie Giegler and Mike Karasch were recognized by the Board of Education for being District nominees for the ISBE Those Who Excel Team nominees.
District Controller and Treasurer Barb Peterson was recognized by the Board of Education for being the ISBE Those Who Excel Administrator nominee.
Conant High School teacher Elizabeth Dopke-Jimenez was recognized by the Board of Education for being the ISBE Early Career Teacher of the year nominee.
Schaumburg High School Administrative Assistant Alison Woytus (pictured with Principal Brian Harlan) was recognized by the Board of Education for being the District's ISBE Those Who Excel Educational Service Personnel nominee.

Coaching Halls of Fame
Hoffman Estates High School Gymnastics coach Dave Calisch was recognized by the Board of Education for being inducted into the Illinois High School Gymnastics Coaches Association's Hall of Fame.
Conant High School Co-ed Cheerleading coaches (and twin sisters) Amanda Schweinebraten and Christina Schweinebraten-Malone were recognized by the Board of Education for being inducted into the Illinois High School Cheerleading Coaches Hall of Fame.
National Board-Certified Teacher
Hoffman Estates High School Special Education teacher Angela Rallidis was recognized by the Board of Education for becoming a National Board Certified Teacher.
Booster Club Presidents
