Peer Mediation
-
Peer mediators are students who are trained by staff in the areas of problem-solving, conflict resolution and communication skills. The group meets a few times a month to process and keep their skills sharp. Peer mediations help problem-solve student conflicts in a private, safe and confidential setting so that the students in conflict can co-exist without having further problems. Peer mediations are also conducted with three peer mediators and a staff member present.
