Welcome to Parking at William Fremd High School! We are very limited with parking and can only guarantee each senior one semester of parking. We have sent out a google survey to allow your senior the opportunity to sign up for their preference in either first or second semester parking. We cannot guarantee this preference nor should your student plan on parking for their full senior year. These preferences must be submitted by June 30, 2020 in order to preserve your senior parking spot. If your student fails to sign up, we can no longer guarantee they will have a senior spot for one semester. Your student will need to use their D211 email to sign up for their spot as well as to complete the car information form that will be on the parking website. If you get an error, stating you need to request access, this means you are signed in with a different google account and need to sign in with your school account. You can also call our technology department. The lottery sign up will be done earlier this year and will be located on the website and is open to both seniors and juniors, this will only be utilized if there are available spots.
Permits will be announced either via an email or a list posted outside the Discipline office when we return to school.
This is a checklist of the items your student will need to obtain a senior parking permit for the 20-21 school year for one semester:
- June 30, 2020 - Sign up for senior semester preference parking (this saves your student’s senior parking opportunity).
- June 30, 2020 - Familiarize your student with the rules of parking
- June 30, 2020 - Complete parking contract, copy of driver’s license and copy of insurance card prepared for the Discipline Office in the fall.
- Summer - Complete the Google form with car information located on the parking website, the senior preference, the necessary documents, and the lottery in preparation for the fall.
If there are available spots, there will be a lottery which is open to remaining seniors and juniors in the fall of 2020 (typically at the end of September). Again, students will have to choose one semester preference and should not plan to park the whole year. If there is a car pool situation, that will need to be arranged with the Discipline Office and approved ahead of time through the Discipline Office. No student should be parking on campus unless the student received the parking permit from the Discipline Office.
Lastly, if there is a violation of the parking rules the parking privileges can be revoked and if revoked, a refund will not be issued. Our hope in emailing students and parents this information is to help everyone with the process.
Senior & Junior Lottery
Please read carefully before proceeding:
Lottery sign up is being opened very early, but that does not mean there will be a lottery. A lottery list will only be posted if all available seniors do not choose to take their parking spots. Any Seniors or Juniors with a drivers license who are interested in the 2020-2021 Parking Lottery at William Fremd High School are now able to apply through June 30, 2020.
