Late Start Schedule

Several times a year, time is set aside at the start of the day for faculty in-service sessions. On these teacher institute days, classes may start or end at a different time than usual. On late start days, classes begin at 9:35am. On these types of institute day, students still attend all eight periods, but the length of each period is somewhat abbreviated.

Late Start Day Bus Route Starting Times to Palatine High School

Beginning on Tuesday, February 4th, District 211 is adjusting bus times on Student Late Start Days. With this adjustment, the MyStop app will function properly on Late Start Days.

Previously on Late Start Days, all Palatine High School student bus routes began at 9:00am. The MyStop app will now reflect actual individual student bus pick-up times. Pick-up times on Late Start Days have been posted in each bus, and bus drivers have been reminding students of the new pick-up times on Late Start Days.

Pick-up times on regular school days are not affected and remain the same.

Students who must arrive early need to report to the student cafeteria.
