Bonnie Greenberg Scholarship Application – Deadline extended to February 18
As part of its commitment to lifelong learning and community involvement, the Schaumburg Township Council of PTAs offers scholarships to graduating seniors who wish to further their education. The Bonnie Greenberg Memorial Scholarship is available to a Graduating Senior with Special Education needs. A current IEP is a requirement for this scholarship. One Scholarship in the amount of $1,500 will be awarded. Click here for more info.

AP Exams Information
If you are taking AP exams in May, you must complete the online registration beginning February 1st through February 28th. You can access the online registration and make payments through the SHS website. New for 2019: Pre-Administration is completed online as well! Each exam you take is $94.00. All payments are due by March 6th. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Werlein or Mr. Kowalski in Student Services.

Diversity Fair Information
Join in the Diversity Fair! Share and celebrate your culture, traditions, and identity with us in Diversity Club's annual Diversity Fair. If you are interested in participating in the Diversity Fair please join us, all are welcome! We will have meetings every Thursday after school from 3 pm to 4 pm in room 89 starting this week January 24th. For more information please contact Mr. Cisneros in the Applied Technology Department.

2018-2019 Spring Parking Permit Information
Attention juniors and seniors If you did not get a 1st-semester parking permit, and would like to apply, check out the SHS website to access the parking application. Be sure to print, sign, and turn in your paperwork to the attendance office by December 12th. Please note, in order to receive a Spring permit, you must turn in your Fall permit and 1st-semester permits are no longer valid after January 8th. Purchase dates for passes will start on December 17th. Application form here.
If you are a junior or senior that did not have off campus for the 1st semester and is interested in receiving it during your lunch for 2nd semester, please pick up a form in the attendance office. Off-campus will not be permitted and will be revoked if a student earns an “F” in ANY course from the previous semester. Forms are due to the attendance office by January 11th and require a parent or guardian signature.

Seal of Biliteracy Test - Applications due February 22
Township High School District 211 students have the opportunity to earn the Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy by demonstrating high levels of proficiency in English and an additional language. Interested students should pick up an application in the Student Services Department to find out school-specific testing details. Applications are due Friday, February 22, 2019, to the Student Services Department. Click here for additional information.

Saxon students: Now Accepting Writing and Artwork Submissions for the 2019 Literary Magazine Publication, IMAGINE! Short Stories, Plays, Poetry, artwork or photos can be submitted through February 28, 2019. Details, instructions, and online application found here. -
Japanese Seal of Biliteracy Workshop
Township High School District 211 offers the opportunity for students to earn the Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy by demonstrating high levels of proficiency in English and an additional language. Students who earn the Illinois Seal of Biliteracy will have it indicated on their transcript. For additional information and to enroll for the preparation workshop click here.
